About Event

IGNITIA ’25 is a National Level Technical Symposium organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Sri Sai Ram Engineering College, Chennai, scheduled for 18th September 2025. This annual flagship event is a celebration of innovation, knowledge, and creativity, providing a dynamic platform for students across India to showcase their talent and ideas.

The symposium is designed to create an atmosphere of learning and collaboration by combining five technical events and two non-technical events. Technical events are aimed at testing problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and innovation, while the non-technical events provide a space for entertainment, creativity, and interaction. Together, these seven events promise a wholesome and enriching experience for all participants.

IGNITIA has always stood as a bridge between classroom knowledge and real-world application. Students will not only compete but also network with peers, explore new opportunities, and develop essential skills like teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking. The event is supported by various professional bodies and faculty coordinators, ensuring high standards of organization and evaluation.

Guidelines

Eligibility: Open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students from engineering, technology, and allied disciplines.

Team Formation:

Team size can vary from 1–4 members depending on the event.

Inter-college teams are permitted.

Inter-department/specialization teams are also allowed.

Format: Each event will have multiple stages such as prelims, semi-finals, and finals. The duration and structure of rounds will differ according to the event type.

Evaluation: Participants will be judged fairly based on creativity, innovation, accuracy, clarity, and teamwork.

Rules

Every participant must carry a valid college ID card.

Registration must be completed within the given deadline.

Teams must adhere strictly to time limits for each round.

Malpractice, plagiarism, or misconduct of any kind will lead to direct disqualification.

Use of internet or external resources is restricted unless otherwise permitted.

Judges’ and organizers’ decisions will be final and binding.

Participants are expected to maintain discipline and follow all instructions during the symposium.
